A floppy hat, or any hat for that matter, is an excellent accessory for the warm weather. It protects you from the sun, and not to mention, looks chic for Instagram photos.
It’s also a b*tch to travel with on an airplane, and sometimes, ain’t nobody got time to deal with that on a long-haul flight. Thanks to lifestyle blogger A Pair and A Spare, we now have a genius solution for packing the hat into the luggage.
Stuff heavier clothing inside the crown of the hat to prevent it from getting squashed and maintain its shape. Then, pack heavier items at the bottom of the suitcase. Place the hat in the centre and ensure that the brim lies flat against the first layer of clothes. Continue packing with lighter-weight clothes on top of the brim, nestling them around the crown.
