For the last thirty four years, the Air Force 1 has built quite a reputation with strong roots in basketball and became a style-staple in street culture. The Air Force 1 is also the first basketball shoes to use the Nike Air technology, and remains as one of Nike’s most recognisable pair of kicks.
Nike is taking it up a notch this year; they made an even lighter and more flexible pair inspired by the classics, the ultimate champion of lightweight shoes: the Air Force 1 Ultra FlyKnit. It is half the weight of the original Air Force 1, carefully micro-engineered to create a featherweight upper for maximum comfort and minimal weight. This will also be the first FlyKnit shoe to have the iconic swoosh logo on it, in leather.
