With the holidays coming up for Chinese New Year, iflix will be entertaining you and your family with some all-time favourite Chinese movies, from action-packed movies to award-winning masterpieces. Here are some of the picks that iflix has got under its sleeves:

All’s Well End’s Well – A classic tale of three brothers in search for love. From their misadventures, they soon learn that love can only be won through gradual nurturing. This first instalment has expanded into 6 sequels. Catch all 7 films on iflix.

Hero – Zhang Yimou once again tells us a story of an anonymous fighter that was given the honour to vanquish the 3 most dangerous enemies of the king. Starring Jet Li, Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung and Zhang Ziyi. This movie is truly a captivating work of art.

Shaolin Soccer – This is a heartwarming story of an ordinary man in hopes of solving the world’s problems with Kung Fu. Regardless of his past, he never gave up. He teams up with a band of misfits to form a soccer team. Will they succeed?

The Mad Monk – Stephen Chow is on a quest to change the ways of three misguided souls and make them better people. Resurrected as a monk, he bypasses multiple obstacles along his journey and above all, he has 3 days to complete his task.

Hotel Deluxe – A bumbling group of hotel staff work together hand-in-hand in retaining Hundred Stars Hotels’ reputation and overcome many hotel crisis.

Curse of the Golden Flower – Another piece of masterwork from Zhang Yimou, this is a tangled tale of China’s royal family. Highlights are brilliant cinematography and gorgeous costume designs.

Martial Arts of Shaolin – A tale of a young Shaolin monk on a journey to eliminate a villainous leader. Well-known for his fight-scenes, Jet Li gives an unforgettable performance as his role in this movie.

Jackie Chan’s First Strike – The Hong Kong cop is trying to unravel a nuclear warhead. Ka-Kui partnered up with Interpol to find and arrest an illegal weapon dealer, taking him all over the world.
