Remember THE DRESS? The black-and-blue versus gold-and-white debate that literally divided the Internet?
Well, there’s another ambiguous photo that has gotten netizens going mad. Imgur user Maskari uploaded a photo of a girl with the caption: “This girl looks like she’s underwater and jumping into water at the same time.”
The eye-bending photo, which has been viewed over 1.8 million times, naturally got netizens debating whether the girl is jumping into the water, or she is already submerged underwater.
Their main argument is that the girl’s hair is obviously dry and isn’t floating around, like it would have been if she was really underwater.
Several netizens also commented that the photo was taken from Instagram and edited with one of the many colour-distorting filters on the app. The washed out and saturated photo makes the girl seem like she’s underwater. Someone even edited the original photo to further prove that the girl ISN’T underwater.
