Pavilion Kuala Lumpur recently hosted a private Taste of Tuscany tasting preview at Azzurro Café as part of its Journey of Taste campaign. The Tuscan themed gourmet experience featured a specially curated menu which highlighted the authentic flavours of the region in Italy for food connoisseurs everywhere.
The exciting affair was graced with the presence of Dr. Andrea Ambra, the Director of Italian Trade Commission in Kuala Lumpur, and through this event, shoppers at Pavilion KL will also be able to taste the unique Tuscan-themed menu, prepared by Chef Sara Barbara Guadagnoli and Chef Antonella Mercurio, that is unlike any other.
Made from the freshest ingredients flown in exclusively from Tuscany, the special dishes incorporated truffles all the way from Arezzo in the east of Tuscany. The impressive menu featured an array of starters, main courses and desserts, as well as many canapé platters of baked ricotta cheese with rosemary, tagliatelle truffle, Tuscan cheese and more.
From the 15 to 30 September 2015, the Taste of Tuscany menu will be available to the public at Azzurro Café. On top of that, shoppers can visit Journey of Taste for exclusive promotions and special menus. Citi cardholders can enjoy a 20% discount on selected menus and food items, while complimentary food vouchers can be redeemed by collecting Foodtastic Rewards stamps with every RM50 spent on the Citi credit card, or RM80 for non-Citi cardholders, anywhere in the mall.
