There’s Enough Sugar In These Drinks To Make Lollipops

We’ve all heard and read about how much sugar is contained in some of our favourite fizzy drinks. But, we’ve never seen it this way!

Mountain Dew – 77 grams of sugar

Food photographer Henry Hargreaves was trying to capture what 77 grams of sugar in a bottle of Mountain Dew looks like when he made a unique discovery.

Coke – 39 grams of sugar

He decided to boil down the soft drinks and he took each remaining substance, then poured it into lollipop moulds, dehydrating all the soda into candy.

Snapple – 46 grams of sugar

Not only is it creative and visually pleasing, it also gives us a solid reason why we should be guzzling down plain ol’ water instead.
