On the 31st of July, werewolves came out to play on Friday as Asia’s first ever werewolf-themed urban obstacle night race, BloodRunner 2015, was hosted. With over 2,000 runners and a whole lot exciting obstacles, the 10 kilometre-long challenge in Putrajaya pushed runners both physically and mentally.
Throughout the evening, runners and fellow guests enjoyed festivities going on at the race site and on top of that, some of Malaysia’s best food trucks were stationed there to refuel the runners. Local stars like Kiss Kill Mary and Jon Liddell also performed, maintaining the high energy of the night.
The organiser, Sw1tch Strategies Sdn Bhd, with the support of Malaysia Major Events, aims to strengthen BloodRunner’s cool concept and take it to the regional market, in hopes of turning it into its own franchise someday.
BloodRunner 2015 was also supported by co-organisers, Mayhem and Exhibit Lab, as well as official partners Perbadanan Putrajaya, RedFM, Evian, Petzl, District Thirteen, Vespa, Runners Unite, Fit Aid, Running Malaysia and Ultron.
