5 Fitness & Beauty Secrets From Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes is spilling her beauty and fitness secrets, and we’re all ears! The hot mama hosted a Q&A on Facebook yesterday to share some of her tips, so take a look below and learn from the queen:

1. Be consistent – She doesn’t go to the gym everyday, but she writes, “I do cardio and light weights at least three times a week.” When it comes to following diets, she says, “I think eating anything you want as long as it’s in moderation is good.”

2. All natural makeup remover – That’s right. Mendes uses “coconut oil on a damp washcloth” to remove makeup and admits, “I’m also on the coconut oil bandwagon. I use it all over.”

3. Use witch hazel – When it comes to oily skin, Mendes says that witch hazel is a real life saver.

4. Use the shower steam – Mendes uses the shower steam to set her makeup to ensure it lasts all day. That’s the first, but she says, “Believe it or not, after I’ve applied my makeup, if I really want it to stay all day, I run the hot shower for a minute and I let the steam settle my makeup. I know it sounds weird but it works for me!”

5. Don’t just use blush on your cheeks – Mendes got this blush tip from her mother. “When applying blush or rouge of any kind, don’t skip your nose. Make sure you apply it a little bit across your nose as well. It makes for a more natural, sun-kissed look.”
