Japanese airline ANA (All Nippon Airways) has just unveiled its new Star Wars jet coming this fall. In honour of the iconic movie, the Boeing 787s will be painted with an R2-D2 motif.
A video rendering of the R2-D2 plane surfaced on YouTube a few days ago and it shows the nose of the plane decked out in R2-D2’s signature blue and white stripes, along with graphics similar to the robot’s various ports.
A huge Star Wars logo is also seen on the rear of the plane.
The jet commemorates the start of the five-year All Nippon Airways Star Wars project, which will include other initiatives in the future.
What do you think? 😉
