We’ve all seen twins that look a little different or completely different from each other before. We’ve also heard of twins being born minutes apart — but have you heard of twins being born on different days?
Meet the Boughey brothers. Not only do they not look alike at all, they don’t even share the same date of birth. One was born on November 6th while the other was born on the early hours of November 7th. Each twin takes after a different parent: Xavier who’s more light skinned with blonde hair takes after their Canadian father, while tan-skinned Jayden resembles their Samoan mother.
Their father, Phil Boughey told Daily Mail Australia that he was “surprised for sure” when his sons were born.
The running joke is because they were made in the Bahamas that [mother] Helen had the local Bohemian milkman stop by one day when I was at work to make the brown one.
The boys recently started at a new school in their hometown Auckland, New Zealand and the 11-year-olds have a hard time convincing their friends that not only are they related but they are twins! Their dad also said:
They think it’s great because they are twins but they are individual and celebrate different birthdays.
