Located along Jalan Sultan Ismail in Kuala Lumpur, Quill City Mall celebrated its grand launch on 18 January 2015. It was held on an auspicious day bearing significance tot he mall’s lot number, Lot 1018. Entertaining the guests were Kuen Cheng High School’s Wind Orchestra and Kuen Cheng High School 24 Seasonal Drum bands, together with 18 lion dance troupes added to the merriment.
The 770,000 square feet retail space will serve as a convenient hub for those living and working in the Golden Triangle and surrounding areas. The mall is part of a bigger project by Quill and it will include a 36-storey residential building, as well as a hotel with service apartments.
A K-Pop group, K-Much, also gave the audience a special showcase, besides performances by Malaysian singer Candy Ice, Quill Hip Hop Dancers, a Flash Mob, artist Jeff Leong, and fun activities for the entire family.
With AEON departmental store as its anchor tenant, Quill City Mall also boasts stores like H&M, GUESS, MPH, Rockport, Adidas, F&B shops like Dubu Dubu, Manhattan Fish Market, Red Lobster and entertainment outlet GSC Cinemas.
