I’ve never been to Number76 prior to my recent visit and I was invited to experience the Tansan Spa, which is a popular hair service from Japan, brought in by the Number76 hair salon. It is a simple scalp and hair treatment which utilizes water and soda gas to remove impurities from the scalp. Check out what I thought about it below!

Firstly, here’s the whole process of the Tansan Spa Sparkling Hair Wash:

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

Step 1: The Shiseido Fuente Forte Sebum Clear Gel was applied onto my scalp and the product was massaged in gently. It left a cooling sensation on my scalp and it helped to stimulate circulation while improving the health of the scalp.

Step 2: My hair was wrapped up and it was left for five minutes for the product so sink in. During that time, the hairstylist gave me a shoulder massage and it helped me to relax completely.

Step 3: The hairstylist then cleansed my hair with some shampoo and rinsed it off with water.

Step 4: After that, the hairstylist begun the Tansan Spa over the basin. Using a high-powered hose, a combination of water and soda gas is sprayed onto the scalp. This effectively removes dirt and excess oil, making the scalp cleaner and fresher.

Verdict

The whole process took about 40 minutes and it was enjoyable indeed. The Tansan Spa hair wash rejuvenated my hair and scalp, leaving it feeling clean and fresh. Even though it is merely a simple addition to a regular hair wash, it really does make a difference, especially in the scalp. I have a very sensitive scalp and I’m glad that the Shiseido Fuente Forte Sebum Clear Gel as well as the Tansan Spa did not irritate it at all.

The hairstylist who serviced me was thorough and he took care of me very well. I also loved the interior of the hair salon as it was cosy and comfortable. The warm lighting, plus the vintage-inspired fixtures and furniture made me feel at home and it was very welcoming. Aside from enjoying the Tansan Spa hair wash, I also enjoyed the Number76 Mont Kiara salon in whole.

Until February 28 2015, enjoy the Tansan Spa Sparkling Hair Wash at a promotional price of only RM75 (Original price: RM108). You can follow Number76 @ Mont Kiara on Instagram or visit this website.
