If you don’t have a passport just yet, now’s the time to get one!
Malaysian travellers can celebrate as the fee to make or renew their passport for five years is now only RM200.
This will take effect beginning today.
The passport fee for senior citizens, children below the age of 12, Haj pilgrims, and students below 21 and studying abroad is RM100.
Previously, senior citizens and students studying abroad were paying RM150 for a five-year-passport. The disabled do not need to pay for a passport.
With the reduction of this fee for the five-year passport, the two-year passport will NOT be available anymore. Do take note.
