The beautiful Nicki Minaj was recently on The Ellen Show to celebrate her latest album, The Pinkprint and like all Ellen interviews there’s got to be at least one heartfelt confession. To start it, Ellen asked the singer/rapper what one could do to get a butt like hers, which we all have seen in the very revealing video “Anaconda” and Nicki replied with, “If I told you, I’d have to kill you,” Nicki said. “Like, seriously. It’s a secret.” You gotta protect the brand, you know?
She mentioned that a lot of songs on The Pinkprint has to do with solving things in a relationship, which Ellen then proceeded to ask, “Is something going on that you’d like to talk to me about?” Nicki answered with, “I’m really, really happy and I think that’s what it’s all about.” She also said that she hopes to help others that are going through similar things could be inspired by her songs. I just feel like sometimes you don’t know why something crazy or difficult or emotional is happening in your life until you are able to use it to help other people or use it to be therapeutic to yourself and to grow from it,” she said. “And now I realize why I had so much of an emotional year. I was writing my album and I think I needed to grow as a human being. And now because of it I just feel, like, better. I feel more peaceful. I feel like I’ve gotten rid of things that were not healthy for me.”
