Let’s all be honest. Chances are, the most of us lack first aid knowledge and wouldn’t know what to do every time someone around us is caught in some sort of emergency, be it a minor one like a burn or something more severe such as broken bones or an asthma attack.
Thankfully, there is a free app developed by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies that could come to the rescue if need be. While you may never know if you’ll ever need it, the app will surely come in handy if the situation calls for it.
The MRCS First Aid app that is available for free download on iOS and Android devices is packed with a useful guide on various first aid scenarios, as well as crucial tips on how to respond to emergencies and what exactly you should do to help the person in need.
Granted, not all of us have been to medical school, but at least there is this app to keep us well informed in order to help prevent others from being victims to lasting injuries, disabilities and even deaths that could have been avoided, all at the touch of your fingertips.
