Always wanted to move like Beyoncé but you just don’t know how? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! You can learn some of her dance moves straight from one of her choreographers right here.
Luam Keflezgy, who is responsible for Beyoncé’s shoulder-shaking number “Run the World,” gave elle.com a dance lesson.
From “Run the World”
“Put your hands on your hips, stand up tall and then bounce your shoulders straight up and down as fast as you can and then on a beat, you’re going to swing your head, one, two; three, four; five, six — right to left — seven, eight. And that’s it. But you’ve got to keep your shoulders going. Don’t stop!”
And one of Keflezgy’s favoyrite go-to moves, from Kelly Rowland’s “Motivation”
“It’s just a hip rock. You just want to throw your hips to the right on the top of the beat. So one, two, throw your hips, throw your hips, just roll it and then you want to give a little lean back so it’s kind of sexy and then whatever you want to do with your hands, it’s on you.”
