With summer being an all-round affair in Malaysia, what better way to celebrate the launch of Bad Boy Cooks and Brasserie Enfin than with sparkling Chandon. To celebrate yet another gastronomical affair, Chandon threw a fun nautical-inspired summer soiree at Oasis Damansara. The celebration also marked the return of the Chandon Summer’s limited edition bottle.
Some of KL’s most recognizable faces such as Sarah Lian, TVB hostess and Miss Astro Chinese International 2011 Belle Theng, radio announcers Janice Yap of Capital FM and Jeremy Teo of Red FM were ushered into the American style diner by Chandon Summer Sailors. The Chandon Summer Sailors also assisted Chef Patron James to welcome and serve the guests. A continuous flow of sparkling wine paired with the finest dishes from Bad Boy Cooks was served all night long.
The excitement continued in Brasserie Enfin when patrons were dressed in their chicest summer outfit to celebrate the launch of the two establishments. As guests sipped away from bright and bold coloured Chandon flutes, they were treated to a showcase of the culinary delights available at Brasserie Enfin.
The night was also filled with activities inspired from the sea. There was a Remote Control Boat Race and Chandon Bounce It, both of which were accompanied by a series of lucky draws throughout the night. Winners walked away with not one, but two bottles of the coveted limited Summer edition Chandon bottles.
Besides that, there was also a Bad Boy Cooks burger eating competition. Participants were challenged to eat the most amount of burgers within five minutes. The first prize winner who managed to chomp down four and a half burgers walked away with a prize of RM1500 credit to dine at Brasserie Enfin while the second prize winner ate three and three quarters of burgers and won a RM888 dining voucher for Bad Boy Cooks.
The special edition of Chandon Brut is colourfully wrapped in eye-catching stripes and adorned with a nautical-inspired design. Chandon Brut is popular for its vibrant and sophisticated aperitif style. Made using the méthode traditionelle, Chandon blends classic varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with extended yeast ageing for added complexity.
