This week for Lipstiq’s Man Of The Week, we have a guy who not only a has a huge sense of humour, but an overall nice guy, oh and he plays the guitar too ladies! This man is none other than Daryl Francis.

Tell us a little bit about yourself, what you do etc.
I was born and bred in Sg Buloh but am residing in Denai Alam now. Currently, I’m a project manager for a boutique branding and communications agency based in KL. On a personal level, I enjoy music; making and listening. Hence, Donamarie, a funk rock band made up of the boys and I also like keeping my tummy happy by way of eating and drinking. Food is a very big part of my life. Equally as important is sex. Usually, when my friends ask me which I choose over the other, I cannot give a definite answer.
What tickles your fancy?
I’m easily tickled, figuratively speaking. It’s hard to say but I’ll have to go with food, sex and music aside from the occasional ‘recreational’ activities. If I could combine all these four fancies, I call that bliss.
What makes you want to get it on?
Oh, having read law during my tertiary studies, I’d like to think I have logical reasoning. So, what makes me want to get it on? Hormones. Raging hormones.
What do you think of the music scene in kl of late?
It’s good that EDM music is on a slow decline lately due to the recent tragedies plaguing the rave scene. Perhaps, it’s time to bring back the old school goodness of rock music or other genres. Gotta have balance to cater to all music lovers, despite the niche markets of other sub-genres. So, I’d love to see a wider variety of what is considered popular. So, we shall see what music trends 2015 brings us.
What do you love most about what you do?
It’s hard to say because I am fortunate enough to join a really close knit team at Sambal Lab. So, I don’t know if it’s the job I love or the people. Either ways, I am pleased with where I am at this stage of my career.
What is about a girl you love the most?
Although it may be cliched, but to me, beauty is what is on the inside. She may look like Megan Fox but if she lacks brains or personality, Ugly Betty is much more attractive to me. So, it’s more of personality and brains whereas looking good is a bonus.
Tell us something that most of your friends don’t know.
I don’t know if they know this about me or not but I’m actually a really happy person most of the time. I always avoid negativity whenever I can. I believe in happiness and I wish the world would, too. Haha! Look at my beauty pageant answer.
Who would you rather have jam session with – Bruno Mars or Adam Levine?
Musically, I’d prefer Bruno Mars musical influences but I’d choose Adam Levine anytime. Even as a heterosexual, I can safely say he is sexy as hell.
If you could be a musical instrument, what will that be and why?
I would be Alicia Keys’ piano simply because she is hot. You get my drift. 😉
