A mother from Cornwall, Carrie Preston, found the perfect past time that allows her to earn a living from home while being a full-time caretaker to her two kids.
It may seem completely mad to some people, but she paints baby bumps of pregnant women and takes beautiful photographs of her artwork for keepsakes.
She says it’s fun, relaxing and it allows you to freely express yourself. A bump painting session takes about two hours to complete.
Preston also mentions that babies always have a little kick during the painting sessions and she loves the fact that every image has a special story behind it.
She has painted over 130 bumps as of now and all the mothers have truly loved the experience.
She documents the photographs on her Facebook page, My Little Sweet-pea.
