It’s good to pack your bags and go away on vacation sometimes but mention that word to a few different people and you will probably trigger different ideas of what a vacation is.
What would you prefer? Laying on a beach while indulging in a good book or hiking the South American mountains? Would you opt for relaxing or exploring? No matter what your choice may be, we have a 5 types of vacations that you should include in your travelling bucket list:
Safari Vacation
Once you’ve been on a safari vacation and seen the “big five”, you will be spoiled for life. The big five refers to elephants, rhinos, leopard, buffalo and lions. The term was actually coined by trophy hunters to describe these animals as the hardest to corner and shoot. But now safari guides have changed the meaning of into 5 of the most coveted animals to see while out on a game reserve.
Discovering Australia
This country that is also a continent of its own has more than plenty to offer visitors. Not only does Australia have a rich cultural background, there are plenty of wonders for you to indulge into while on vacation. The land down under offers world class beaches, exotic (and also deadly) animals that are pretty damn cool to get up close to, and a vibrant lifestyle.
A Mediterranean Villa Experience
For those who love the quieter kind of getaways, why not rent a villa in Tuscany and pretend that it’s your home during your stay. This kind of vacation is all about soaking up culture with a glass of wine, or two. Walk into town and explore their way of life, enjoy the great food and catch up on your reading. Make yourself a local and enjoy the quiet serenity the town brings you.
Private Island Getaway
This travelling must-do is all about escapism and enjoying a stunning beach side experience with added privacy. The rich and famous often opt for this when it comes to going on vacation with their loved ones, and sure this might burn a hole through your wallet but such an experience is priceless! If not all the time, you deserve a luxurious getaway of this kind at least once or twice in your life.
Historical Vacation
One of my personal favourites, this kind of holiday is the most interesting of all. Be sure to save enough, so that you can travel through all seven continents to soak up the history in different countries, as they all have plenty to offer when it comes to architecture, civilization and such.
