Designer Jovian Mandagie had painted the town once again by making history on the local and international fashion scene, to which he hosted the Jovian Mandagie Annual Fashion Show 2014 (JMAFS14), where three distinguished concepts were set up in a one day slot.
Three brands were showcased, starting with his alluring line of Coco RTW Raya 2014 by Jovian, continued by Bridal Blossoms for Jovian Mandagie Bridal and finally, a gala showcase of his Boho Raya by Jovian Mandagie.
Pullman Bangsar’s Grand Ballroom was transformed beautifully, complementing the runway-setting from decoration guru, Flora Etc by Razak Ahmad for all the three sessions.
The first RTW collection was inspired by the legendary character of Gabrielle Chanel as a fashion icon. The setup played along with a viking table that was magnificently stretched to 20 seats long, festooned with white flowers on the tabletop, furbished by five tower candles and embellished with oversized pearls that aligned together as the centre piece.
For the Bridal Blossoms session, the runway setup was stirred by blossoming flowers and the colour white. A gigantic artificial white tree was positioned in the middle of the runway, as its branches were ornamented by the draping of white polyester fringes.
The most-anticipated Boho Raya session had a runway setup that was minimal yet bold, on four-metre uneven platforms, garnished by the scheme of silver, black and earthy colours. All this was surrounded by five towers of candles where the models took their finale poses.
This #JMAFS14 was successfully executed with the help of the devoted JM Team and its supportive partners including Pullman Bangsar Kuala Lumpur, Salina PR Associates, Flora Etc, Maybank, Syoss, Sniff, Snips Make Up, Safi Rania, Citroen, Cairell Marwan Videography, The White Space and Voids Society (WSVS) Photography, Joyeria Kohinoor, Axxezz, Satchel and Magnum Ice Cream.
