If you haven’t watched the latest instalment of X-Men, we suggest that you do now!
The biggest X-Men film ever brought in an estimated $110 million at the box office over the opening weekend itself, proving how fantastic the movie really is.
In the year 2023, mutants have been wiped out by the Sentinels, a robotic race whose ability to adapt has been instrumental in making mutants nearly extinct.
Sadly, for the remaining humans, Earth has become an unlivable scorched planet. However, all is not lost as Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) device a plan to send Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) consciousness back into his younger self to year 1973.
This is the same year that Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) assassinated an anti-mutant scientist named Trask (Peter Dinklage), which then sparked an all-out war. Does Wolverine manage to convince the younger Charles (James McAvoy) and madder than ever Erik (Michael Fassbender) to team up for the good of mutants and humans alike?
The film stars almost everyone who has ever attended Xavier’s School for the Gifted, including Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Nicholas Hoult and many more.
What makes this flick such a stand out? You’ll just have to watch it to find out!
