In China, you can never be too surprised because just about anything can happen.
As gross as it may sound, a mother found a brilliant use for her breast milk after her son refused to drink it – she made soap from the milk to be sold online.
The soap claims to cure nappy rash and oddly enough, it’s proving popular in China.
Instead of wasting her freshly pumped milk, the mother decided to make soap from it so her baby could still get some of its benefits out of it.
These soaps are now available on China’s eBay, Amazon and Taobao.
The vendor writes that her soap is good for deep-cleansing adult skin and also helps prevent nappy rash on babies.
She has moulded the soaps into cute shapes like teddies, rabbits, tortoises and fish.
She said, “I used to pour it all down the drain, but it seemed such a waste.”
Breast milk is known for its benefits and research shows that breast milk helps to prevent skin conditions like eczema in babies.
