Sorry ladies, Richard Gere is still not up for grabs. The 64-year-old actor and 43-year-old Top Chef host are dating, E! News confirms, but the romance is still “very new and recent,” a source tells New York Post’s Page Six (which was first to report the news).
But it’s not all sunny for the Pretty Woman actor, he’s still in the midst of some divorce drama. In September 2013, Gere and actress Carey Lowell announced they were separating after 11 years of marriage. The pair have one son together, 14-year-old Homer.
Lakshmi has one child as well: Her 3-year-old daughter Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell with her ex-boyfriend, venture capitalist Adam Dell. She was married to novelist Salman Rushdie from 2004 to 2007 and then in a serious relationship with with financier Teddy Forstmann until he died of brain cancer in 2011 at age 71.
But we do hope this relationship works out!
