Get this – a woman named Crispi used bacon to try and burn down her ex-boyfriend’s house. She also had a blood alcohol level four times higher than the allowed drink-driving limit.
Earlier this month, Cameo Crispi’s previous lover contacted the police after she inundated him with phone calls and text messages.
He asked the officers to remove her from his US home and when Crispi answered the door, smoke billowed out from the home and into the street.
“I asked to come in and observed a wood stove left open with a fire burning inside and hot coals on the floor around the stove,” said the attending officer, who added that there was also a pound of bacon laid on a sheet of baking paper.
“I observed the burner to be on the setting ‘High’ and the bacon to be severely burned and smoking badly.”
The policeman then took preventative action and arrested Crispi. Doctors said that “she was attempting to start a fire in the house to get back at her ex”.
Crispi, 31, is now under fire and has been charged with arson, burglary, assault by a prisoner, interfering with an arresting officer, electronic communication harassment and intoxication. She will appear in court on April 14.
For someone who’s named Crispi, maybe she would’ve succeeded in burning down the house if she hadn’t used bacon. BURN!
