Established since year 2004, Kohinoor moved to Publika in 2010 and it serves some of the best of Northern Indian cuisines. From tandooris, kebabs, lambs to paneers, the restaurant’s menu features a whopping 174 dishes, with each ingredient imported from India and prepared by the master chef who also hails from India.

Kohinoor’s house specialty continues to be the Raan E Mastan, which is a leg of lamb massaged with spices, pot roasted, smoked over charcoal, finished on a skillet and served on a sizzler, Briyani, which is flavoured Basmati rice cooked with prawns and boneless fish with a variety of Indian spices, Chicken Nawabi, creamy, gently spiced kebab flavoured with mace and grilled in a tandoor, and Palak Paneer, which is cottage cheese cooked in a creamy spinach sauce, an ideal preparation for weight watchers.

We were lucky enough to be able to taste some of the restaurant’s best sellers and sure enough, every dish served was pleasantly flavourful, well-prepared and delicious. If your taste buds can’t handle spicy food, the chef will be more than glad to tone down the heat to suit your palate. Every patron who visits the restaurant can also expect top-notch service and hospitality from the friendly and helpful staff at Kohinoor.
