M’sian Kids Get Heads Stuck in Chairs on First Day of School

The new school year has just begun and Malaysian kids between the ages of 7 to 17 are back in their respective institutions to gather all the knowledge they need.

What was believed to be a fun day turned out to be a puzzling one when Oh! Media shared a collage of numerous kids getting their heads stuck in their chairs. We really have to wonder what these kids were up to.

It’s actually hard to tell if these kids are all from the same schools, but if they’re not – where on earth did this new trend come from? Is it a new game the younger generation came up with to see who could be the bravest among the group? At first glance, some of us thought these kids were actually getting punished.

It’s honestly quite hard to tell what these kids were actually up to, but some of them don’t seem happy being stuck in their chairs. And it doesn’t help when your teacher is sitting right next to you, giving her winning smile while her hand rests on her knee.

Strange enough, this topic is already starting to trend on Twitter. See what some Malaysians have to say:

Although it may seem pretty amusing, let’s take a break and think about not humiliating these kids, shall we? For all you know, it was an accident and it would’ve probably occurred due to the innocent and curious minds of young children. They’re probably having a tough time in school as it is, so let’s not result to cyber-bullying them.
