Triumph, the leading female lingerie brand, celebrated their 127 years of heritage, expertise and style in the ‘Triumph Tailoring Female Confidence’ campaign which was a star-studded event held at 1 Utama. Besides a glamorous fashion show, a spectacular exhibition was set up to showcase Triumph’s heritage pieces from the 19th century and its evolution to date. The heritage pieces were specially flown in from Germany headquarters’ archive for this momentous occasion and the campaign is held in partnership with Parkson.
The host for the night was Daphne Iking, who then welcomed the General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Ms. Lai Yuen Ping. A special surprise makeover was also announced whereby a random guest was picked from the crowd and was revealed before the night ended.
The spectacular fashion show showcased different eras and it started off with the Victorian era, followed by the Roaring 20s, then the Swinging 60s, featuring Dernier Cri – Innerwear worn as outerwear and last but not least, Dernier Cri – It’s all about Red. The much-awaited grand finale saw the gorgeous Amber Chia gracing the runway in a stunning black corset adorned with thousands of red Swarovski Crystals.
The Malaysian supermodel described the fashion show as a “lingerie time machine” and added that Triumph’s rich history has played an integral part in women’s lives for more than a century and there would be another century of lingerie perfection to look forward to. Also present at the glamorous event were celebrities such as Dynas Mokhtar, Lyn Lim, Chermaine Poo and Patricia K.
The event ended on a high note as guests and on-lookers alike caught a glimpse of 127 years of lingerie history courtesy of Triumph.
Established in 1886, Triumph is a reflection of its true German heritage and the business that started out with just six sewing machines and six employees has developed into a unique global player, with 37,500 employees working in over 120 countries.

Through these transformations, Triumph is helping unveil the women’s confidence from within, regardless of shape. Participants will be able to get a total makeover experience, from hair and makeup, to the lingerie that they wear to accentuate their assets.
The top three finalists will be selected by Triumph’s and Parkson’s top management and the winners will walk away with attractive cash and voucher prizes worth up to RM 3,000 from Triumph and Parkson. The winners will be announced at the end of December 2013 on Triumph’s and Parkson’s Facebook page.
