Describe your personal style: I like very basic but versatile pieces that can be easily mixed and match. Most articles of clothing in my wardrobe can be easily paired with something else to create many different looks. I personally prefer pieces that can speak for themselves rather than those which need excessive accessorizing. It’s my way of making my outfits stretch. I don’t usually go for anything too loud – my style can be described as subtle but still quietly outstanding. I usually try and have a piece or two that is eye-catching with everything else more muted so the attention goes to only the piece I want people to focus on. Most of all, I believe it’s the person wearing the clothes that make an outfit, not how much it cost or who made it.
Your thoughts on the fashion scene in KL: It’s great! You see so many different types of styles especially at music festivals. It’s very refreshing to see that the fashion scene in KL is slowly but surely growing. It would be nice to have more people dressing up even for the more mundane occasions but we’re slowly getting there.
Your favourite places to shop: I get my clothes from almost anywhere – I’m not picky when it comes to brands. So long as it looks nice and works for me, I’m good. Some of my favourite places include Bershka, Miss Selfridge and of course, Topshop.
