UPDATE (29/10/’14)

In an attempt to bring justice to the murder of Ambank operations officer Norazita Abu Talib, Malaysian Facebook users believe they may have identified the Facebook profile of the killer Ambank security guard.  The suspect is wanted for the murder Norazita and robbing an Ambank branch in USJ last week.

Although it is still unsure that the profile is of the suspect, the pictures of the Facebook user does resemble the man in the CCTV snapshot. According to the photo albums, the man appears to be an avid gym goer and an Indonesian football fan.

What’s even more interesting is that the user uploaded a photo of an Ambank bank book after he opened an account at one of the bank’s branches in Taipan, Subang Jaya. The page timeline also shows that the user used to update his Facebook status regularly until October 21, two days before the incident.

Based on his Facebook profile and updates and comments, the man writes in an Indonesian dialect. It could also be linked to the suspect carrying a fake Malaysian IC stating that he is Ardi Hamza from Tawau, Sabah.

The spine-chilling video of a banker shot in the face has gone viral. The video, shows a security guard trying to rob the Ambank bank in the USJ Sentral branch, while killing 37-year-old Norazita Abu Talib by shooting her once in the face with a pump-gun.

According to sources, the victim was opening the door to the vault when she was shot. Four other staff members were also present at the scene.

The security guard – 37-year-old Sabahan, Ardi Hamza – fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash on a motorcycle.
Subang Jaya deputy superintendent, Tan Ah Chua confirmed the incident, but declined to elaborate further.

Norazita had been an employee with Ambank for 16 years. She was a mother of two children.

State deputy police chief Datuk Abdul Rahim Jaafar said the suspect was armed and considered to be dangerous. He advises the public to stay vigil and cautious of their surroundings.

“I advise the public to be cautious as the man is still on the loose and is armed. I urge anyone with information on him to come forward”.

“According to the security firm he was meant to be a replacement guard and had worked in another bank next to the crime scene.

“He had been employed by the firm for about a year,” he said.

We have removed the video of the incident. It is still available on YouTube.
