XIXILI has recently launched its signature community project in lieu with Breast Cancer Awareness Month – “Love My Life” with three educational programs.
In the first part of its series, XIXILI funded breast health screening tests, a breast cancer awareness talk, and a breast self-examination (BSE) workshop for all its female employees. The program was organized in partnership with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA) and Pantai Hospital.
Ms Jo Leong, Senior Marcom Manager of XIXILI said:
“We want to advocate the importance of ladies taking care of themselves and taking charge of their well-being! This is especially true when it comes to breast cancer awareness and health. The XIXILI ‘Love My Life’ community project emphasizes on practicing your monthly “BSE I have it”, as early detection can save one’s life”.
The entire ‘Love My Life’ community project has taken on an educational angle. It runs in three stages – to raise awareness educate their workforce about breast cancer; to inspire the youth and younger ladies by educating them about breast cancer and breast-self examination from an early start; and finally, to disseminate the valuable and insightful knowledge on breast cancer to customers and the public with the support from our core partners, BCWA and Pantai Hospital”.
During Pink October month, Pantai Hospitals’ and Gleneagles Hospitals’ patients who perform their mammogram or breast ultrasound, will be entitled to receive a RM50 rebate voucher for purchase of XIXILI’s products of RM100 and above in a single receipt.
XIXILI has also inspired a group of students from Raffles Design College to come together to create a teaser video to create public awareness about breast cancer. To preview the video, please visit www.xixili-intimates.com/lifestyle
