Animal lovers can stay overnight at Werribee Open Range Zoo with its Slumber Safari in luxury ‘tented lodges’. The camp offers an authentic safari experience, with private balconies overlooking native Australian bushland. Meanwhile at Melbourne Zoo’s Roar ‘n’ Snore, guests can set up camps in a revamped elephant enclosure with all the amenities you need. Campers are even given an admission ticket for the second day so they can fully experience the wonders of the zoo at both day and night time.

Hedges is a converted railway station while The Vine and Wisteria Cottage are both glamping style accommodations in converted train carriages.
