Berkshire Consulting & Penerbitan Pancasona is on the path to reuniting Malaysians together by creating an everlasting song and music video that can unite Malaysians and inspire through generations.
That song, is Tanahairku Tanahairmu Jua. Inspired by the late Datuk Dr. Usman Awang , the Merdeka and Malaysia Day song and video aims to showcase the union between two different worlds – a world of pop and rock music.
Shahid Shayaa, Managing Director of Berkshire Consulting praised that Monoloque and Datuk Siti Nurhaliza were the perfect combination for this.
Tua Muda Kanan Kiri Miskin Kaya, inikan tanahairmu jua, Akan ku serah jiwa dan ragaku, apa saja demi tanahairku .
“The chorus was intended to be simple enough for people from various backgrounds to unite and sacrifice for the love of the country” said Loque, the key man behind Monoloque.
“We created a melody of hope with the blend of ethnic traditional instruments such as erhu and sitar with Malay language vocals to give the back-to-my-roots feeling. Musically, it represents the mutual tolerance and the co-existence between the major races in our country. We are delighted to have Dato Siti with us in producing an uplifting patriotic song for the country,” he added.
Complementing the music video was Noh Salleh of Hujan, Atilia, Amir Jahari, Hunny Madu, Zahiril Adzim, Amirah Asraf (Tilu), Joe Lee (KlubkiddKL) David Leong (They Will Kill Us All) and poet Pyan Habib.
