Describe your personal style: I don’t think I really have a “personal style”, it usually depends on how I feel when I wake up. Somedays I put in more effort, on my lazier days its usually plain oversized tees, my hair up in a faux bun, a lot of accessories, my Chuck Taylors and I’m set! Sometimes pairing up something really minimal with something else thats really over the top helps balances your overall look.
What do you think about the fashion scene in KL: There are definitely a few “fashionistas” who deserve due credit, but most of the time I think everyone kind of looks the same and nobody really stands out enough. I think we need to be braver and more accepting of how we look and dress, and not be so quick to judge someone who’s trying to be different. Make their day and tell them they look awesome!
Your favourite place to shop: It’s not exactly easy to find clothes if you’re a plus size / bigger girl in KL, but thanks to places like H&M and free worldwide shipping from ASOS, its been a whole lot easier! I love scouring through places like FOS, it still surprises my friends when I tell them where I bought that cute dress they just complimented. I shop at factory outlets when I travel out of Asia as well, its the best place for amazing and cheap finds!
