Describe your personal style: I’d say my style is very mix n’ match. I like to “toughen up” a girly outfit with a pair of boots, and I tend to incorporate my thrift finds with everyday mall items. The key is to be creative and most importantly, comfortable.
What do you think about the fashion scene in KL: It’s definitely growing and constantly changing. While we may not (arguably) be as stylish as our other Southeast Asian counterparts, Malaysians’ fashion choices are getting bolder, which creates a more diverse style as a whole. It’s cool to see a girl rocking tee-and-jeans with strappy heels yet at the same time, it’s refreshing to catch a girl in a pair of disco pants.
Your favourite place to shop: Thrift stores and Bangkok. No words can described how good it feels to hunt for amazing items. And of course H&M and Topshop with their cooler-than-thou pieces, but I hardly pay full price for anything. Vouchers and sale season are the way to go for me!
