Thanks to Apple, everything with an “i” in front automatically sounds cool, at least, that’s what a lot of companies think. The iPoint Evolution here has got nothing to do with Apple and is far from being a sophisticated piece of expensive gadget but it sure is cool in its own way. It is a pencil sharpener that unlike normal ones you can get for a few Ringgit – because I doubt anyone besides artists still uses a pencil anymore – the iPoint Evolution Pencil Sharpener is actually smart enough to detect when your pencil is pointy sharp and stop sharpening! Not only will this save electricity, it can also prolong the lifespan of your writing tool. The blades of this thing are made of Titanium Bonded carbon steel blades that guarantee to stay sharp longer. If you get fascinated by little things like this but do not use a pencil anymore, it seems like a pretty cool thing to get for your kid, at least he won’t be wasting pencil just because he wants to play with the electrical pencil sharpener.
