Here’s a lesson for all of us: check your food carefully when it gets delivered to you, because you never know what unpleasant surprises might rest on your food.

Lipstiq.com received pictures from a reader who discovered what looks like cockroach eggs in a Samurai Chicken Burger. According to Mr. Jeremy C., he went to the branch in Mont Kiara to purchase takeaway lunch for his office staff on Monday (yesterday). His colleague was already half-way through eating the Samurai Burger when he saw a couple of small black objects on the inner part of the top burger bun. He quickly called over Mr. Jeremy C. to confirm his suspicions. “It [the egg] is easily identifiable. I also dissected the egg to make sure,” said Mr. Jeremy C. “We threw it away after taking some pictures because we were all so disgusted.”

According to Mr. Jeremy, he has emailed the pictures to both McDonald’s Malaysia HQ and to the Mont Kiara branch but has not received any replies so far.

The other food items ordered from McDonald’s did not contain roach eggs.
