Bold make-up is the ultimate look to wear this summer. It gives your eyes a certain pop and it brightens up your features in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, not all women are daring enough to wear bold eye make-up, which is why we came up with a couple of bold eye make-up looks that’s both wearable and unique. So grab your favorite maxi dress and take yourself out on a colorful ride.

AY-Look 1

Green Forest

Blend a soft neutral tone with a metallic green hue, and blend it well to create a soft fairy-like look. To add a little more fun flair, use your eyeliner to draw a minor floral design at the end of the eyes instead of the usual cat-eye. Try using Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Perfect Liquid Eyeliner

Lavender Smoke

Although purple hues are top colors for fall, a lighter shade of purple like lavender makes the eyes look fresher and energetic. Stick to the same colors, but contour your eyes with a darker shade of purple at the brow bone to define the eyes. Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Eye Shadow in Painted Purple was our top choice in achieving this look.

Ocean Wave

If you want to rock a bold eye without going over the top, opt for the blues instead. Go from a light turquoise blue to a deep dark hue thats similar to the colours of the ocean. Use your eyeliner and draw a slightly thicker line just above the eyelid to define the shape of your eyes even more. We used Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Blue Moon to get that perfect ocean blue color.

The Peacock

Make it like a peacock with a few colors like blue, green, purple, pink and gold. All you have to do is split the parts well and start blending, you may mix with other shades too, as long as it flows well like a rainbow. Start from the inner corner of the eye with a lighter shade and gradually work your way to the deeper and darker colors.

Orange Crush

You can’t go through summer without shade that resembles the sun – orange. It stands out so well especially for those who have darker skin. Define your eyes with thick dark brown shades to define the shape of your eye and to accentuate the bright orange hue. Complete the look with a thin layer of black eyeliner.  Get this look with Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Eye Shadow in  Fierce and Tangy.
