Using the lightest fabric in the world super-organza, designer Ying Gao has used glow in the dark thread and sewn together a dress that moves and changes shape.
The Montreal-based designer has used hi-tech sensory technology to create a dress that lights up and even moves. A fusion of fashion and technology, the dresses are pieces of art within themselves.
The photo luminescent thread makes the dress glow and resemble the look of a jellyfish whilst small motors with eye tracking devices are sewn in to give the dress the movement of a jellyfish. These features are what transform the dresses from pale going out pieces into intelligent, conceptual pieces of art. (Source)
