We got the chance to get ask this young music sensation about her music career, school, her achievements, and how she feels about being part of the Chatime Friends Program.
Q: Tell how you felt when you were announced as the Best Actress at 16th Shanghai Film Festival?
A: I was very surprised because I never expected an honor like this. I was really shocked that time but I felt very happy after that.. I still can’t believe I managed to beat the rest of the entries.
Q: How does it feel to be the first ever “Chatime Friend”?
A: Well, first and foremost, I’d like to thank Chatime for the opportunity to be part of the “Chatime Friends Program”. I personally feel I’ll be able to benefit from the program, and I’m also looking forward to the one year supply of Chatime!
Q: What would you plan to do after being part of “Chatime Friend”?
A: I truly believe this programme will motivate me to work harder to fulfil my dreams as an artist. I believe I’ll be able to attain the added exposure through all of Chatime’s initiative.
Q: Are you now working on any new projects?
A: I’ve been working on my new single, which will be released under a major label. My mentor, Dennis Lau always taught me that ‘the sky was the limit’!
Q: What can we expect from your upcoming album?
A: Mostly mellow tracks. There are no fixed music genres and I’ll be performing different in languages as well. My Cantonese song will also be released soon!
Q: How do you manage your school life and homework in your busy schedule?
A: I always get asked this question. Well, I know I am only 10 years old. When I have any free time from my schedule, my mother will always guide me with my homework. She accompanies me from day to night to make sure that I’m able to stay on track with my school work.
Q: We know that you’ve signed up to compete in a TV singing competition from Hunan, China. What would you expect for this competition?
A: Honestly, I’m not too stressed out from competition because there are no adults involved in this TV contest. I hope that I can get into the finals and attend their graduation show for this TV campaign.
