Tesco Malaysia is once again collaborating with the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) to invite all Malaysians to make a ‘back-to-nature’ intimate jungle trail to their garden themed “Denai Rimba Mesra”. It will be showcasing at the Floria 2013, Putrajaya Flower & Garden Festival from the 22nd to the 30th June 2013.
Boasting a total of 2,400sqft of lush tropical landscaping and boasting a scenic lake panorama, “Denai Rimba Mesra” is inspired by elements of natural wild orchids. It also features a futuristic “Wakaf Buluh” (Bamboo tree house) architecture and various woods and evergreen Karas species from around the world including the Aquilaria malaccensis, hirta, subintegra, sinensis and the crassna.
“Experience the sense of calmness and tranquillity and be surrounded by an unforgettable landscape that co-exists with the sounds of nature as well as elements of water,” explained Low Lee Ann, Head of Corporate Responsibility, Tesco Malaysia.
Visitors are invited to enter the garden and walk along the natural trails and transported to a 3 dimensional “zone” of a natural forest. Various activities and programs are prepared for the visitors as well.
“All these activities are planned to raise awareness and educate Malaysians on environmental conservation and help them learn more about nature in fun and interactive way,” explained Low.
“We believe if everyone does their part for the environment, we world have a better and greener Malaysia to live in.”
The campaign last until 30th June 2013, do come and experience a moment closer to the nature. The entrance is absolutely free.
