Swallow’s-Nest-Castle-Ukraine

Swallows Nest Castle, Ukraine

Built between 1911 and 1912 this decorative castle named the Swallows Nest sits on top of the 130 ft high Aurora Cliff, overlooking the Black sea. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ukraine and we can see why as this compact castle looks adorable!

Carved out of a cliff face during the Tang Dynasty the Lehsan Giant Buddha is the largest stone Buddha in the world. With the Qingyi river flowing at its feet this is a breathtakingly beautiful site facing Mount Emei.

The Abbey Library of Saint Gall, Switzerland

The Abbey Library holds the oldest collection of books in Switzerland and was one of the most important monastic libraries in the world, not to mention the earliest. The library has roughly 160, 000 books, some manuscripts dating as far back as the 8th century. The library with its intricate designs is considered one of the most beautiful non-sacred rooms and the most perfect library in the world.

The park uses millions of LED lights on the entire grounds, even on the water and in the gardens. Amongst the five ice hotels in the world, the ICEHOTEL located in Jukkasjarvi, Sweden is the largest. Opening in 1990, this hotel was the first of its kind.
