One of the key sources of inspiration for Canali’s new collection is the reference to the typical mood inspired by Hollywood in Los Angeles. The group of garments made in super light cotton and silk, with sharp lines but impalpable colours including yellows, sky blues, rose pink and wisteria in the loosely flowing t-shirts.
The season’s true novelty sparks a new line of office suits with tailoring at the service of the easy life and the ironic references to the dress style of American classic and film noir movies in the 1950s and ’60s.
The unlined and semi-lined jackets borrow the rounded peak lapels, constructed but soft shoulders, rounded breast pockets in pure tailor made style, and a contoured cut with fitted waist, presented in both single-breasted models with peak lapels and six-button double-breasted versions.
