It’s common to see people doing plastic surgery to improve the appearance and we’ve seen countless of people going to the extent of doing the weird beauty treatments including the recent vampire face-lift recommended by Kim Kardashian.
Recently, a new beauty trend “Huo Liao” or fire treatment has swept across China as it was believed to be one of the best anti-aging treatments! However, the beauty trend has shocked many with its bizarre method of prevent wrinkles when a netizen from the Weibo China shared the insane photo back in February.
The netizen shared that she was accompanying her mother to a local beauty salon. She was shocked to see a relaxed woman wearing wearing with a thick yellow face-pack and a towel covering half her face while the areas above where her eyes should be are set a flame.
The netizen captioned the photo: “My mom went to get her face done at the beauty salon so I went with her. What I saw… instantly shocked me… I couldn’t look.”
According to the Huffington Post, the treatment involves soaking a special towel in a ‘secret elixir’ and a little alcohol. The towel is then lit up, only to be put out just a few seconds later with another towel. It is said to stimulate the skin as well as address dullness, sagging and wrinkles.
