Canon, a world leader in digital imaging, today announces the launch of two new fixed-focal-length EF Cinema Lenses namely the CN-E14mm T3.1 L F and the CN-E135mm T2.2 L F (for EF mounts). Featuring exceptional optical performance, the two new lenses support a range of motion picture and video production applications, including 4K (4096 x 2160 pixels) production standards.
The new Canon CN-E14mm T3.1 L F and CN-E135mm T2.2 L F prime lenses feature superlative resolution, supporting use with 4K-resolution cameras. Offering compatibility with 35mm full-frame sensors, the lenses can be paired with not only high-end digital SLR cameras, but also digital cinema cameras equipped with industry-standard-size Super 35 mm-equivalent sensors, including Canon’s EF-mount Cinema EOS digital cinema camera lineup, as well EF-mount cameras incorporating APS-H-size or APS-C-size sensors.
The Canon CN-E14mm T3.1 L F will be available from May 2013 onwards at the recommended retail price of RM 15,828 as for the Canon CN-E135mm T2.2 L F will be available from June 2013 onwards at the recommended retail price of RM 15,828.
