A Swedish chief prosecutor was arrested for buying sex from a prostitute in a central Stokholm hotel, after the police received a tip off and was waiting for him in the staircase outside the room.
The policemen had no idea who the man was, until they actually learned of his status while arresting him – the prosecutor on duty to whom they should report the crime to. According to sources, he allegedly found the escort online, when “surfing around on his iPhone” during a train trip, during which consumed half a bottle of wine and a beer.
The man had confessed his crime, expressing that his wife will leave him and his children and friends will think he behaved like a pig. He stated that with in his experience as a prosecutor, he knew the stupidest thing he could do was to lie. “I have done what I’ve done, I’m standing with my pants down. The worst is what I have done to my family and friends,” he said.
Another prosecutor will determine would be taking care of the case, and the punishment will soon be determined. (Source)
