The world just keeps on getting more interesting by the day.
Edith Casas, a woman from Argentina tied the knot on Valentine’s Day with a man who was convicted for killing her twin sister. It was reported that no one from the family of the 22-year-old bride, attended the wedding ceremony.
It has been said that after the ceremony, a group of around 20 people threw rocks and eggs at the grom, Victor Cingolani, who is currently serving 13-years in prison for killing Edith’s sister. Victor was given a one day pass to get married and was escorted by prison guards and riot police.
Before the ceremony, the bride said, “I want to start a family with Victor because I love hom. He is innocent.”
Initially, the wedding was set for December but the judge in charge blocked it, pending a psychiatric evaluation of Edition, by request of her mother. After all that was done, it was proven that the bride has no signs of psychiatric disorder and they let the nuptials proceed.
The brides father on the other hand, had nothing more to say but, “For me, they are both dead. Johana is with God and Edith is with the devil.”
It was said that the brides sister, Johana was shot twice in the head just says before her 20th birthday back in July 2010. Her body was then found on the outskirts of Pico Truncado and her ex-boyfriend (now, Ediths husband) was convicted for her murder in June 2011. The court found he was a ‘willing participant’ in the killing. But of course, Victor claims that he is innocent and is appealing against his conviction.
None the less, Edith and Victor have officially tied the knot – what happens next is really up to them.
