Pressed for time? Can’t handle it? Well, here are few things that may help you out of that sticky situation. From apps to to-do lists… we’re finding a way for you to improve your (and our) time management issues!
1. App it out
The best thing about technology is that abundance of applications we’ve been offered with all the gadgets we have. iPhones, BlackBerry’s, Computers…. it all involves applications that will help you organize the things you need to organize in no-time. Use the google calenders, or even the calenders on your phones – it’ll make things work much more smoothly. You can keep track of everything you do, and have to do as well.
2. Write a to-do list
Sometimes, doing it old-school is really the way to do. Get a pen and paper, and list out EVERYTHING you need to do. Once you’ve done that, organize it to what is important and what is less important. This helps you see everything in the big picture. What’s you’ve written everything out, you’ll know what to start on first.
3. Delegate the work right
Don’t think you can handle everything on your own – if you’re in college and you’re working on a school project, then delegate the work right. Don’t try to be ‘macho’ about it. Ask for help, and you will receive As for the working class, if you work with a team, help each other out – spread out the work right and you can get things done more efficient and faster.
4. Be responsible
Don’t leave things til the last minute – though, it’s a problem we all face, doing it early can and will help you out. You’ll be surprised at how releived you’ll feel if you finish your work before the actual deadline. If you finish early, you can always move on to the next project, and get a head start on that. Soon, it’ll become a habit that continues through out time… and it’s a good habit.
5. Spend a day doing as much as you can
This is something that you just have to sacrifice. Pick a day (preferably a weekend) where you stay in and finish as much as you can in one shot. Shut yourself out from the world, and dive into that work load. Trust us, you’ll feel a little more fresh and relieved the next day.
