A picture’s worth a thousand words but a photographer’s life was lost on New Year’s Day after being struck by a car in attempt to snap photos of Justin Bieber. However, Bieber wasn’t behind the wheel of the vehicle at the time of incident.
According to sources, the photographer who was following Bieber’s car spotted the hitmaker’s white Ferrari stopped on Sepulveda Boulevard. He then parked his own vehicle across the Los Angeles Street and crossed the road to get closer shots of the occupants in the car. The photographer was told by the police office to go back to his vehicle twice before being struck down by a SUV. “While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim”, said Bieber regarding the car incident. “Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the
lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves,” Bieber added in his statement.
