Who doesn’t love looking at a hot model? Well, these models make the ads catchy and the catwalks pumping. We’re taking a look at the model that have made a hit this year – from Victoria Secret angels to other brand gracing faces – these top models have been the centre of attention. These models have been hitting the most shoots through out the year!
1. Miranda Kerr
This was a given, but this year, it seems that the spotlight started on Miranda Kerr. After wearing the icnoic Vicotira Secret jeweled bra, the attention just coming through. She then got herself gigs with several other fashion brands and most recently it included Mango! Pretty neat huh?
2. Alessandra Ambrosio
This year, Alessandra was the model of choice for the Victoria Secret Fantasy bra and this all happened because she started steaming the covers of magazines and ads through out the year. To top it all off, this year, she had her second child and within weeks, she continued modeling. That’s what you call a SUPER model.
3. Karlie Kloss
Karlie Kloss has been around for a long time – her face is familiar, but it wasn’t until this year that people started to take full recognition towards her. She walked in over 60 different shows during fashion week itself and she became the most wanted model to all designers. It was her face and figure that just suited all their designs.
4. Liu Wen
This is another model that has been around for awhile now. Staring in Victoria Secret, Lui Wen has moved it all up and is now representing brands like Estee Lauder and more. She is one of the few Asian models that have broken through the barrier of fashion. Pretty impressive if you ask us.
5. Kate Upton
Remember that Sports Illustrated cover with Kate Upton wearing a bikini that was 10 times too small for her? Well that cover gained her the most recognition ever. From there on end, Kate Upton made her way up the fashion ladders and has become on of the most popular faces out there.
6. Cara Delevingne
Cara has made her way up to the fashion industry with not only a face, but the fun-loving personality that shines through the camera. Known for her bold features, she comes together with a signature of thick eyebrows and pouty lips. She has become the face for several fashion ads such as Chanel and even Burberry. This year, she also won the Model of The Year away at the British Fashion Awards – that was the real icing to the cake.
7. Xiao Wen Ju
Here’s another Asian model that has climbed her way up to becoming the most versatile model in front of the camera. She has worked on some of the most memorable campaigns for brands such as Kenzo and Marc Jacobs. Through out this entire year, Xiao Wen has come up in editorials in American Vogue, CR Fashion Book and even Vogue Chine. She has also catwalked for some of the best designers out there and without fail, she manages to turn each moment into an unforgettable picture.
